Daniel Accepts Nuneaton Termsby Andy White Friday, July 30, 2010
NUNEATON TOWN have signed former Stafford Rangers and Worcester City defender Wayne Daniel on non-contract forms.
The 33-year-old centre-back left Worcester at the end of last season and Stafford offered him a deal to return to them earlier this month.
However, Daniel has spent pre-season with Nuneaton and has now accepted the terms offered by their manager Kevin Wilkin.
Commenting on Daniel's decision to join Nuneaton, Wilkin told the Coventry Telegraph: "Wayne has been excellent.
"Right from the opening friendly against Coventry he's shown the right attitude and will certainly give
us the experience and cover we need at the back.
"He's settled in well at the club and knows what football is all
about at Blue Square North level."
