YORK CITY have offered teenage striker Adam Boyes a professional contract at Kit Kat Crescent.
Boyes, who turns 18 on Saturday, has made five substitute appearances for the club this season and is currently considering the offer.
Minstermen boss Colin Walker told the
York Press: "We have just made him a contract offer and he is mulling over that as we speak."
Walker doesn't want to rush Boyes into Blue Square Premier action and added: "This league is very competitive and very strong.
"He's 6ft 2ins but he's still finding his weight. We are easing him in slowly. He's not far away and he's going to be involved all the way now."
