STEVENAGE BOROUGH have signed former Oxford United forward Yemi Odubade.

The 24-year-old, who can play as either a winger or a striker, was released by the U's earlier this month after three years at the Kassam Stadium.

Odubade joined Oxford from Eastbourne Borough for a fee of £15,000 in January 2006 and went on to make over 130 appearances for the club.

A statement on the Boro website said: "Graham Westley has always been an admirer of Yemi's pace and strength and believes he provides the squad with options from wide positions and up front that weren't available to him last season."
