GEORGE ROLLS has taken over ownership of Blue Square South club Weymouth.
The former Cambridge United chairman completed a deal to buy the Terras on Friday, thus preventing them from going into adminstration.
Last week it had looked like a consortium headed by businessman Chris Ryan would take over at the Wessex Stadium but the deal fell through when they failed to meet particular conditions set out by the club.
Weymouth currently lie bottom of the Blue Square South having won just twice in 19 games.
