EASTBOURNE BOROUGH boss Tommy Widdrington says departing defender Anwar Uddin was “the epitome of professionalism” during his time at Priory Lane.
Speaking about his departure, Widdrington told the club’s website: “Having spoken to him, and with work commitments as well as a really good coaching opportunity, it has been agreed to part ways.
“I have to say having not known Anwar before signing him here at Boro, he is a top fella and I’m very appreciative of his contribution when both in and out of the side last season. He was the epitomy of professionalism.
“I know Annie would like to thank all at Boro for the fantastic support he received and I wish him all the very best in the future.”
Dagenham & Redbridge manager Lee Allinson says the club have “done really good business” after overseeing a major rebuild that has already seen 11 new signings arrive at Victoria Road ahead next season.
Harry Beautyman says the opportunity to work with former Premier League superstar Andy Carroll played a major part in his decision to join Dagenham & Redbridge.
Lee Allinson has left Hemel Hempstead Town to become Dagenham & Redbridge’s new manager, with the Tudors announcing the return of Lee Bircham as his successor.
