WHEN it comes to the moment of truth votes, more often than not, win you prizes. But to ensure we don't take a Madonna-size tumble at our awards ceremony we need you to get involved – as soon as possible!
We are already excited about the National Game Awards 2015 after last week confirming Wednesday, May 20 will be the big day, and that we are returning to Fulham's Craven Cottage once again.
We were also thrilled to confirm a special new partner – Dean Holdsworth and his Non-League Footballers' Association are right behind the annual event.
But one thing never changes. The NGAs just cannot function without our army of readers – and nothing demands your input quite like the first two awards we preview today.
The William Hill Fan of the Year is something we pride ourselves on getting right, and the NLFA Unsung Hero is one of our most popular and worthwhile accolades.
But as much as our awards team would love to be at every ground in every league it's just not possible. That is where you come in – our fantastic readers need to be our eyes and ears!
We need you to drop some rather large hints and push us in the right direction to make sure we crown the correct people in West London in three-and-a-half months' time.
If you know someone that we simply can't ignore then we need names – and we need to know why!
Does your club have a diehard that doesn't miss a game come rain or snow? Do they help behind the scenes or give up their free time, perhaps?
If last year's award was anything to do by, we will find another worthy winner. Weston-super-mare super fan Simon Stephens hadn't missed a game home or away for 24 years.
Not only that, but he was the club's press officer, associate director and academy match day operations manager – all on a voluntary basis!
Last year's Unsung Hero accolade also found a fantastic home. Martin Brush, above, a dedicated Bath City follower for over 40 years has not only raised much-needed funds for the team to travel to away matches but he also runs the club shop.
Or, how about twins Stuart and Chris Daynes, main pic, who drove to all 39 Eastern Counties Premier and First Division clubs in 24 hours to help raise money towards the building of a new clubhouse for Felixstowe & Walton United?
