National Game Awards: Vote for your goal-den moment!

IF there's one thing we all love to see in – it's wonder goals. Whether it be a jaw-dropping piece of skill or a 40-yard thunderbolt, there's nothing better than witnessing a screamer.

People might expect the best goals to fly in off the boot of the overpaid Premier League superstars but weighs in with its fair share every season.

As much as we'd love to see the goals from every game, it just isn't possible and this is where you, our loyal readers, play a key part!

We need you to make sure we see the greatest Non-League goals of the season so the best is rewarded with the Goal of the Season award, once again backed by Huck Nets.

Our , supported this year by Dean Holdsworth's brilliant Non-League Footballers' Association, will crown the most deserving at Fulham's Craven Cottage on Wednesday, May 20.

And that's exactly why we need to get it right, and why you can play such a big role in shaping who takes one of the most sought after prizes home with them.

To whet your appetite, we have been posting some brilliant recent goals on our Vine and Twitter accounts (@NonLeaguePaper).

Two weeks ago, Braintree's Simeon Akinola turned on the style at Bristol Rovers, chesting the ball inside the penalty area before unleashing an unstoppable bicycle kick past Steve Mildenhall, similar to Joe Healy's scissor kick for Welling – last year's winner.

Forest Green Rovers' Clovis Kamdjo must have seen it, because he tried to go on better last Saturday! The midfielder scored Rovers' fifth against with a wonderful overhead kick – a goal that would have garnered huge attention had it been scored at the top of the game.

With the increase in popularity of social media, footage of goals gets around quicker than ever before and it didn't take long for Sean Geddes' goal for Worcester against in the to go viral worldwide.

His rabona goal, in which he wrapped his right-foot around his standing left leg to chip the ball over goalkeeper Aaran Taylor, was watched over 1.5m times and came just weeks after Tottenham's Erik Lamela scored a similar effort in the Europa League.

There have also been some sterling efforts outside of the Conference. Striker John Campbell's excellent – some would say arrogant – goal from the halfway line for Step 5 Jarrow Roofing BCA capped his five-goal effort that day before he later moved on to Oxford United.

And where better to score a screamer than in front of the TV cameras? 's Giuseppe Sole picked the perfect time to fire in an unstoppable free-kick from fully 30-yards against FC Halifax live on BT Sport.

That's just a flavour of some of the best Non-League has produced this season. To make sure we don't miss any worthy goals out, please get in touch and have your say!

You can tweet us your best, but please use the hashtag #NGAGoal. Remember to include a video link of your favourite strike!
