Duo included in England C squad for Republic of Ireland U21s test

DULWICH HAMLET'S Frazer Shaw has been called-up to the England C squad alongside 's Jordan Roberts.

Roberts becomes the 16th man named in 's squad to take on Republic of Ireland's U21s. 's Three Lions will travel to Galway for the friendly that takes place on Monday, June 1.

Left-back Shaw replaces Blackpool-bound Jarrett Rivers, who has pulled out with a groin strain following a fantastic season with .

Callum Chettle, of Ilkeston, 's goal machine Aaron Williams and 's Charlie Goode complete the Step 3 picks.

Overall Fairclough has picked seven new faces in the 16-man squad. defender Ben Heneghan, Braintree's Simeon Akinola and Dover Athletic's Sean Raggett are all in line for international debuts.

With rumoured FA cuts, there have been fears England C fixtures could be wiped off the calendar. But Fairclough is preparing his side for the next International Challenge Trophy tournament as normal.
