BEING THE SON OF THE BOSS DOES HAVE ITS ADVANTAGES
IT'S a family formula at Bromley this season. Most players would love the chance to play under their dad and I'm definitely enjoying it.
My old man, Mark Goldberg, is the Bromley manager – that is always going to bring added pressure for me.
People might question whether or not I should be in the side, but I want to let my football do the talking!
It's going well so far, we've got off to a good start and are second in the Skrill South.
We have a really good squad and as long as we can keep the team spirit and keep working hard then I don't see why we can't keep winning games and still be up there towards the end of the campaign.
From a personal point of view, it's great to hit the ground running. I've scored five goals already and I've struck up a great partnership with Pierre Joseph-Dubois.
He's a great player he knows where to be and makes great runs. He has also started the season well scoring four goals.
So it has been very enjoyable to play with him so far because we link up quite well.
I was at Hastings last season and we were really disappointed we got relegated, especially after our brilliant FA Cup run.
I got released from Charlton Athletic in 2011 and I was a little disappointed, but I always wanted to bounce back and prove my doubters wrong.
I went to Hastings tried to prove myself and ended up scoring there. Then this summer I signed for League Two Dagenham and Redbridge for a year.
Of course, it is a little bit frustrating to be loaned out, but if I can score goals for Bromley and show what I'm capable of you never know what could be around the corner.
It's just a case of getting that opportunity. I have to keep doing well and then I will hopefully that get chance to impress.
I have shown in the past I can do well on the big occasion. Scoring against Middlesbrough in the FA Cup third round last season has to be one of the biggest achievements of my career.
It was great feeling scoring against atop Championship side like Middlesbrough and on a big day out for the club and my family. I'll never forget it.
I don't think I've even washed my shirt!
DAD'S PALACE HELL MADE US STRONGER
I'M 19 now, but I was at a young age when my dad was the Crystal Palace chairman.
But when things turned sour during his eight months there I remember the effect it had on my family.
But again it shows how you always have to bounce back and that shows in what I'm trying to do now. That's what my dad did after his difficult time at Palace.
When you think about everything that has happened in the past he's definitely one of my biggest inspirations, because he's one of the most optimistic people I know. He always gets you going when you're low and that inspires me.
Hopefully we can keep up our great start and keep a smile on his face!
