BROMLEY held a minute’s silence yesterday to remember author and supporter Dave Roberts, who passed away peacefully this week.Roberts was best known for writing The Bromley Boys: The True Story of Supporting the Worst Football Club in Britain. The book was published in 2008 and later turned into a film starring Alan Davies and Martine McCutcheon.Before his career as a writer, Dave worked in advertising.
