Gloucester City Agree Cheltenham Town Groundshare Extension

will spend their fifth campaign at Cheltenham Town's Whaddon Road after agreeing to extend their groundshare for next season.

The Tigers have been playing at Cheltenham since 2010 after spending time at Forest Green Rovers and Cirencester. City lost their Meadow Park home after heavy floods in the summer of 2007.

Tim Harris returned to the Tigers last week as manager and will be leading his charges at Whaddon Road again next season.

Gloucester chairman Stuart Pike said: “I wish to put on record a big thank you to Paul Baker (chairman) and Cheltenham Town for their assistance as we agreed an extension to the ground share agreement for the 2014-15 season.

“With this agreement signed and in place Gloucester City can move forward and concentrate on the rest of this season and feel confident we have a home at the Abbey Business Stadium for next season.

“The positive relationship between our two Gloucestershire clubs has shown that is the winner here and both clubs will benefit from this agreement.”
