Stefan’s Moore the merrier for Solihull Moors!

have strengthened their promotion push with the acquisition of experienced former Premier League striker Stefan Moore.

Moore, 31, joins Moors from Conference North rivals and gives Marcus Bignot more options up front alongside man Omar Bogle.

The forward captained Aston Villa to the FA Youth Cup in 2003 before playing in the Premier League for the Villans. He later spent spells in the League with , Millwall, Leicester City and QPR, where he played alongside Moors boss Bignot.

The manager said: “It is fantastic news for everyone at Solihull Moors that Stef has agreed to join. He brings a wealth of experience from the professional game and has proven that he can score goals at all levels including this one.

“Having worked with Stef at a professional level, it was always my intention to do so again and the timing is now right. This addition will give everyone here a huge boost as we look to improve on our current league position going into the second half of the season.

“With the forward players we now have at our disposal I'm confident we can continue to be the leagues highest goal scorers and have the Vanarama Conference North's top goal scorer at the end of this campaign. That will certainly be two of the goals we want to achieve with Omar, Stef and co. come the end of the season.”
