Keanu Marsh-Brown joins Forest Green Rovers

YOUNG winger Keanu Marsh-Brown, who won the Conference with last season, has signed for Forest Green Rovers.

The 22-year-old former man came through the ranks at Arsenal and then Fulham before having spells at MK Dons, Dundee United, Oldham and Yeovil.

He then joined Barnet in March 2013 where he started to dominate headlines with his attacking play and spectacular goals but has fallen out of favour in recent times and started just two league games last season.

Rovers made a bid for his services last season but Marsh-Brown opted to stay at the Hive. The Bees also rejected a bid from then-Championship side Blackpool.

But Ady Pennock has finally got his man and chairman Dale Vince is excited to see the Antigua & Barbuda international in action after he signed a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Vince said: “We're very pleased to have Keanu join us – he's a talented young player we've had our eye on for a little while now.

“He'll get his debut tonight as we kick off our pre-season with a friendly against Cardiff City at the New Lawn. We're looking forward to what Keanu will bring to our squad and our push for promotion.”
