York City continue to strengthen with additions of Felix and Kamdjo

have added to their summer haul with the signings of highly-rated youngster Kaine Felix and midfielder Clovis Kamdjo.

Felix, 21, can play on the wing or as a striker and scored five times in 32 appearances for outfit last season.

He joined Boston in 2014 from boss Dennis Greene's former club and enjoyed a fantastic first season at York before injury problems last term.

The Pilgrims will be due compensation for Felix – who has signed a two-year deal at Bootham Crescent – as he is under the age of 24.

York boss Jackie McNamara has also strengthened his midfield with the addition of Kamdjo following his release from new league rivals Forest Green Rovers.

The former City and man, 25, only played five times for Rovers last season but appeared on 33 occasions for after joining on loan.

McNamara told the club's website: “Clovis, for me, is being brought in as a defensive midfielder and he's very good at breaking up play.

“He's very disciplined in that role and it was very important to bring somebody in for that position – he's an aerial threat as well.

“Kaine has been around the team and he's got pace to burn. He can play in a number of positions up front and we all want to see him running at defenders.”
