NATIONAL League South outfit Gosport Borough have been served with another winding-up petition by HM Revenue & Customs.
The 2014 FA Trophy finalists were handed a similar petition back in July but it was dismissed a month later.
However, the Hampshire outfit will be due in the High Court on November 21 unless the debt can be paid off before that date.
It's not the first time the club have struggled financially, with Borough confirming last season that players were behind on their wages.
Talks of unpaid players continue to swirl around Privett Park although there is said to be a consortium interested in taking over the club if chairman Mark Hook walks away.
And manager Alex Pike's future is thought to be up in the air as he continues to be linked with the vacant managerial job at Southern South & West side AFC Totton.
Speaking about the links, Pike said: “I'm flattered to be linked with Totton. In many ways they are a mirror image of Gosport Borough.
“They're a team that are a sleeping giant. I know it's a term used a lot in football, but that's exactly what they are. They've got great facilities.”
