The NLP’s National League and FA Trophy Team of the Day March 19

GARY MILLS was named our Top Boss after guiding his York City side to Wembley with victory over Lincoln City in the FA Trophy.

Scott Fenwick’s extra time penalty gave the Minstermen, Trophy winners in 2012, a 1-1 draw on Saturday meaning they won the tie 3-2.

Daniel Parslow was York’s man of the match and he was put into our back three alongside Barrow’s Moussa Diarra and Macclesfield’s George Pilkington.

Macc will face York at Wembley in the Trophy final after Ollie Norburn’s half volley saw the Silkmen sneak past Tranmere 2-1 on aggregate.

Norburn, who also scored in the first leg, was deservedly named in our midfield with Dover’s Joe Healy, Liam Noble of Forest Green and Braintree’s Sam Corne.

Christian Doidge scored again for Forest Green in their 3-0 win against Wrexham and he earned a place in our attacking trio alongside Solihull Moors scorer George Carline and Gateshead super sub Luke Hannant.
