England C and Dulwich Hamlet’s Frazer Shaw joins Leyton Orient

FRAZER SHAW, who was capped by after a fantastic campaign with , has signed a one-year deal with .

The left-back, 20, was a key part of Ryman Premier Dulwich's team last season and was rewarded with 90 minutes for England C in their victory over Republic of Ireland U21s in Galway.

And he has now done enough on trial at the League Two side to warrant a contract. He played under current O's boss Ian while in the academy at former club West Ham.

He was released by the Hammers at the end of the 2013-14 season and subsequently dropped into to join Gavin Rose's Hamlet.

Hendon said: “I feel he has benefited from his spell in Non-League. I think he has grown up and I had him at the U21 level at West Ham.

“He was very good at that level but for one reason or another he drifted away from the professional game for a year but he has come back, looks strong and he is going to be physically better off because he has been dealing with men every week rather than in U21 .

“To me he looks like he has developed. Technically I know what he is about and he has got to get fitter, but to be fair to him he has worked hard over pre-season, but when you have been out of the full-time game for a year it takes a bit of time to get back to how you were.”
