Bardon Hill Keen To Educate

BARDON HILL Club was formed in the 1890's, first playing behind St. Peter's Church in Bardon, until moving to its present ground in 1990.

The club has since evolved and progressed both on and off the field where recent developments include a floodlit main pitch and a covered stand for over 100 people.

In the 2009/10 season Bardon Hill entered the for the first time in its history. After winning their first three qualifying matches, the club were eventually defeated by .

The £50,000 grant already secured will help Bardon Hill build a new clubhouse, providing designated changing facilities for the junior teams at the club.

As well as a new catering facility that will be used to put on wider community events, the build of a dedicated education facility will also benefit the pupils of the local college.

BCFShould they win the Super Grant it will allow them to make a number of improvements around the club such as installing new floodlights, plus a new gym and medical room.
