Resurfacing Plans For Blyth With Another £100K

ESTABLISHED in February 1995, started out as a junior club with only three teams, but has grown  every year since.

The club established a girls section in 1999 which is now very successful and in 2001 the oldest teams became the seniors, marking the start an adult section.

In December 2002, Blyth Town became the first ‘Community Club' in the North East and in 2007 received grant aid  from The Football Foundation to build its own facilities in Blyth.

The club will use the £50,000 Club Futures grant to build an extension to the clubhouse, providing extra space to host social events. The extension means the club will have more than double the space to accommodate more players and fans and drive additional revenue opportunities.

BCFAnother £100,000 will help them to extend and resurface their Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) benefiting other clubs within the community and providing a much better facility for Blyth's current teams to train during the winter months.
