Takeover confirmed at Eastleigh as Director of Football Richard Hill leaves the club

club confirmed on Friday that Kenny Amor, Tom Coffey, Joanne Sprigg and Mark Jewell have purchased a controlling interest in the club from former Chairman Stewart Donald.
Donald, who had owned the Hampshire club for the past eight years, was forced to sell his stake in Eastleigh as part of the conditions of his £40 million takeover of League One side Sunderland.
It is understood that Jewell will take up the role as Chairman, with Amor becoming Cheif Executive.
In what was a busy day at Ten Acres, the club also announced the departure of Director of Richard Hill.
HIll joined Eastleigh in February 2017, initially combining his job as Director of Football with the role of Caretaker Manager.
