Hednesford Town have been boosted by the news that Stefan Galinski has agreed to join the Pitmen on a one-year deal.
The defender, who will captain Hednesford during the upcoming campaign, led Grantham Town to the verge of promotion from the Northern Premier League last season.
Under the captaincy of Galinski, the Gingerbreads made it to the play-off final before falling to a 2-0 defeat to Ashton United.
The 24-year-old center-back started his career with Derby County before leaving to join National League North club Boston United.
After spending a season with the Pilgrims, Galinski moved to Stalybridge Celtic and Alfreton before joining Grantham in the summer of 2016.
Speaking to the club's official website, Hednesford manager Rob Smith said, “This is a signing that we have been working on for some time and someone we identified early on with him being Grantham's captain in their successful season last time around.
“He is a true leader in every sense – which is exactly what I think we have been missing and why we have made him club captain.
