Steve Arnold moves to Shrewsbury

After impressing in the for last season, goalkeeper Steve Arnold has secured a move to League One side Shrewsbury.
The 28-year-old shot stopper joined the Bluebirds midway through last season after leaving Gillingham, making 17 appearances as Barrow avoided relegation from the National League by the skin of their teeth.
Arnold has been on trial with the Shrews for the last few weeks and put in an impressive performance when keeping a clean sheet in a friendly against Premier League side Burnley.
Speaking to Shrewsbury's official club website, the new signing said, “I'm buzzing to be fair.
“I've been here a week now, played two games, got the call from the Gaffer yesterday and like I say I'm buzzing to be here and I just want to get going properly now.
“It's always nice when you go in somewhere and make a bit of an impact. I'd like to think I've done well, I've done enough for the Gaffer to offer me a deal and I'm looking forward to getting started now.”
