Matlock Town boss Dave Hoole leaves club

Northern Premier League club Matlock Town have announced that manager Dave Hoole has departed the club.
Hoole was appointed manager at the back end of last season after guiding The Gladiators through a successful run of form during his spell as caretaker boss.
However, Matlock have endured a difficult start to the present campaign and are currently sitting near the bottom of the NPL Premier Division.
In a statement on the club's official website, Matlock Chairman Tom Wright said, “We'd like to thank Dave not only for his work as first team manager but also for his outstanding contribution to the success of our reserve and development sides. “Everyone at the club really wanted things to work out for Dave. It's been a pleasure to work with him and we're all sorry it's ended this way. We wish him all the very best for the future.”
