National League North club FC United have moved to strengthen their side with the double swoop of Theo Brierley and Cole Lonsdale.
Brierley arrives Broadhurst Park having previously played for Glossop and Buxton.
The 20-year-old came through the youth ranks at Stoke City and also had a spell with Manchester City before his senior career began.
Meanwhile, Cole Lonsdale joins FC United having recently left Championship side Bolton Wanderers.
The 19-year-old left back will provide extra competition for places in the United backline.
Speaking to the club’s official website FC United’s interim Manager, David Chadwick said: “I’m pleased to welcome both lads to the squad. We have two young players who again will brill more balance to the team and bring competition for places.
“They’ve both been training with us for the last few weeks and have done well. I am looking forward to seeing them in action.”
