Aldershot Town midfielder James Rowe suffers long-term injury after freak Ribena incident

Luckless have been dealt a cruel blow by losing midfielder James Rowe after a freak accident at home.
The former Wycombe Wanderers playmaker has been ruled out long-term from Gary Waddock's squad.
Rowe dropped a bottle of Ribena and then accidentally stepped on the broken glass.
He becomes the latest attacking player to join the injury list along with Matt McClure and Jacob Berkeley-Agyepong. Scott Rendell is the only fit striker available to Waddock after Dan Holman had his contract terminated by mutual consent last week.
“James is a long-term one and he's nowhere near coming back at the moment,” Aldershot assistant manager James Rowe told Surrey Live. “It was a freak accident at home unfortunately, I believe. It's going to be months rather than weeks he's out for. It's hopefully not going to be [the rest of the season] but it is a serious one.”
