Angus departs Nuneaton Borough

North basement club have been handed a blow with the news that top goalscorer Dior Angus will return to his parent club Port Vale.
Since joining the Boro over the summer, Angus has become a hero on the terraces at Liberty Way, netting 14 goals and chipping in with two assists

The striker told Nuneaton's official club website “The loan spell has been massively helpful. The club means a lot to me anyway because of my Dad's previous time here. I'm really thankful for everyone for letting me come and play here. I think it's done me well. I appreciate it.”
The 24-year old front man also voiced his backing of new boss Jimmy Ginnelly saying: “We looked a lot better since he came in. Once they can be a bit more solid I think they'll be a good side.”
Following a 2-1 defeat against AFC Telford on New Year's Day, Nuneaton currently find themselves six points adrift at the foot of the table.
