Northern Premier League strugglers Grantham Town have strengthened their midfield option with the signing defender Chris Dawson on a one month loan deal from Bradford PA.

The short term loan will see Dawson join newly appointed joint managers Paul Rawden and Russell Cousins at the Gingerbreads who are looking to bring fresh quality into their squad ahead of their first match in charge on Tuesday against high flying South Shields.

Meanwhile, Grantham have also been in the market for two other players today, bringing in 18-year-old striker Jordan Adebayo-Smith.from Lincoln City and midfielder Michael Tweed from National League North side Nuneaton Borough.

Grantham are currently sitting in 18th place in the Northern Premier League, just three points above the drop zone.
