Les Hare admits heartbreak at North Ferriby demise

Ex North Ferriby United Chairman Les Hare admits that he was left utterly heartbroken by the former FA Trophy winners’ liquidation last week.

However there could be light at the end of the tunnel for Ferriby fans after he detailed ambitious plans to re-form the club in time for the start of next season.

In an exclusive interview with the NLP, the North Ferriby legend said:“You wouldn’t wish it on any football fan. I think it is almost criminal that we have had a situation where a football club, which is an institution for the village, has had to endure such a difficult period.

“It is virtually a lifetime’s work that has now disappeared so Friday was understandably a very emotional day”

Hare added, “I am now extremely motivated to restore North Ferriby. Things are progressing well and we had lots of talks with the FA and local leagues”.
