A DEFEAT at St Ives Town may just become the best thing to happen to Banbury United.
It was the Puritans’ first Southern League Premier Central loss of the season last month and has led to seven consecutive victories.
The run left them 13 points clear at the top before yesterday’s trip to Stourbridge with manager Andy Whing reflecting on a potential turning point in their surprise promotion charge.
