Promotion winner Danny Elliott hopes to inspire a revival on the pitch for Scunthorpe United after completing a move from Boreham Wood this week.
The 27-year-old, who won the play-offs with Hartlepool United in 2020-21, arrived at Glanford Park for an undisclosed fee soon after ending a successful loan spell at Gateshead, where he scored six goals in just nine appearances.
Elliott scored 22 goals for Boston United in National League North last season before joining Boreham Wood in the summer but only made four starts.
