Upbeat Maidstone United boss George Elokobi is confident his players will be in tip-top shape for next Sunday’s all-or-nothing National League South play-off final blockbuster against Boreham Wood.
After a gruelling 46-game second-tier campaign, Stones have shown they still have petrol left in the tank by winning twice on the road.
First, the seventh-placed finishers claimed a 2-0 eliminator victory over fourth-placed Worthing.
Then, they followed that up with a dramatic 2-1 semi-final win at third-placed Eastbourne Borough last Sunday.
