FA Trophy Third Round Draw

THE draw for the third round of the FA Trophy was made at Wembley on Monday, and it has thrown up a number of tasty ties.

The top two in the Skrill Premier will face off as Cambridge United host Luton Town. The Hatters, who trail the U's by four points, saw off holders on Saturday while Cambridge sneaked past St Albans 2-1.

Last season's losing finalists Grimsby Town, who beat Edgar Davids' Barnet at the Hive, have been handed a home draw against Skrill South .

There is also an all Skrill South clash as leaders welcome to the Silverlake Stadium with a place in the fourth round on the line.

Step 3 host either or Nuneaton Town who will replay at Liberty Way on Tuesday night. The other Step 3 side left in the competition, , will have to overcome Forest Green if they want to travel to Tamworth in the third round.

The eight ties will take place on Saturday, January 11 with the winning clubs receiving £7,000 from the FA's prize fund. Four games stand between the remaining clubs and a trip to Wembley.
