WARE have announced a new manager as well as a new chairman who both arrive from FC Broxbourne Borough.
The Ryman North side are at the bottom of the table and boss Nicky Ironton resigned after Saturday’s 3-0 home defeat against Witham Town.
The Blues moved quickly to appoint Ken Kemal as their new manager after leaving Broxbourne where he served as a coach. Kemal will be hoping to lead the club away from the relegation spots and was due to meet his new squad on Monday night. Kemal will bring Tolga Huseyin with him from Broxbourne to serve as director of football.
Also joining Ware from the Spartan South Midlands League side is Inanc Elitok who will take over as club chairman. He was co-opted onto the management committee on Sunday evening before being elected as chairman. Elitok takes over permanently from Mike Varney, who resigned from his post in November.
A Ware statement read: “New chairman Inanc Elitok is looking forward to working closely with all the current committee members, who all are at present remaining in post.
“The club will be working towards maintaining its continued membership of the Isthmian League. No one is under any illusion that this will be a difficult task, but all are focused on achieving it.”
