Woking boss Garry Hill brings in three defenders

WOKING have strengthened their back line with three defenders signing on for Garry Hill’s men including Conference promotion winner Ismail Yakubu.

Yakubu, 30, joins the Cards after four seasons with Newport County. He helped the Welsh side to promotion via the Conference play-offs in 2012-13.

He has also won promotion to the Football League with Barnet and AFC Wimbledon and will replace Joe McNerney who moved into the League with Crawley Town.

Hill has also secured two full-backs with familiar face Chris Arthur staying on after joining in January from AFC Wimbledon.

Right-back Jake Caprice has also agreed to join the Cards after making 37 appearances for league rivals Lincoln City last term.
