Dagenham & Redbridge secure two goalkeepers for next season

boss has secured two goalkeepers ahead of the new season – including the signing of Elliot Justham from Luton Town.

Still – who led Luton to the Conference Premier title in 2013-14 – has moved quickly to ensure he has options between the sticks as the Daggers return to .

Mark Cousins has been rewarded with a new two-year deal after impressing Still last season. He has made 67 appearances for the club since signing from Colchester United in June 2014.

Battling Cousins for the number one jersey will be Justham, who will be reuniting with Still after the pair worked together at Luton.

Still took Justham to Kenilworth Road from but he was released from his Hatters contract with 12-months still to run after making 17 appearances in all competitions last season.

Boss Still told the Daggers' website: “Mark produced some good displays this season which impressed me. Our goalkeeping coach, Jim Stannard, also thinks a lot of him.

“I offered Mark a new deal and I'm delighted that he accepted it and I look forward to working with him next season.

“I took Elliot to Luton from East Thurrock United after getting good reviews about him.

“He worked very hard to get into the Luton first team and it was only because of an injury that he lost his place whilst I was there. He's a lad and I rate him very highly.

“This deal was not one I was expecting to make but once he became available and wanted to join Dagenham I moved fast to sign him.”
