Bucks Move Quickly To Appoint Cooper

EXPERIENCED Conference boss Mark Cooper has taken the reins at following the departure of Andy Sinton.

The Bucks parted company with Andy Sinton on Thursday morning after going without a league win since early October – a run that leaves them occupying the final Blue Square Bet Premier relegation place.

And they have moved quickly to appoint his successor – former , Kettering, Peterborough and boss Cooper.

Mark Cooper DarlingtonSpeaking about the appointment, Bucks chairman said: “After the departure of Andy Sinton we were keen to identify someone with the relevant skills and experience needed to steer the club to safety.

“We believe Mark Cooper fits the bill perfectly. Mark has a wide range of experience in the Blue Square Bet Premier and has a proven track record of achieving results at a part time club.

“We are very excited to have Mark on board and now urge all of our fans to get behind him and the team for the remainder of the season.

“We have sixteen cup finals between now and the end of the season and we want our supporters right behind us. They say there are no guarantees in , but one thing I can promise you is that we'll be working night and day to keep this club in the Blue Square Bet Premier league.”
