Eagles Frontman Extends U’s Stay

CRYSTAL PALACE striker Kwesi Appiah will remain on loan at Cambridge United for a second month.

The 23-year-old has been in fine form since joining the U’s in mid-September, scoring three times in seven appearances.

His goals have helped United open up an eight-point lead at the top of the Skrill Premier table and he will be hoping they can increase that during his second month at the Abbey.

Cambridge, who are yet to taste defeat in the league this term, travel to 22nd-placed Chester tomorrow.
