We want dialogue with clubs, says National League GM Mark Ives

NATIONAL LEAGUE general manager Mark Ives has vowed to hold meaningful discussions to address member clubs’ concerns.

Ives, who joined the competition in January, acknowledges the fact an EGM to hear a vote of no confidence, despite failing, came to bear shows the frustration some clubs are feeling on a variety of issues that have been exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic. The National League are in the process of appointing a new chairman to replace Brian Barwick, who announced his intention to leave the organisation after six years at the helm before the EGM was first proposed....
