Scott Goodwin appointed as new Gresley boss

FORMER Coventry City player Scott Goodwin has taken over at NPL Division One South club Gresley.

The 37-year-old, who also played for United, Hednesford, and Kettering, has previously managed .

Goodwin replaces Wayne Thornhill who resigned as Gresley boss last month following a mixed start to the season after the Moatmen reached the play-offs last term.

The club are in a good position, however, sitting just a point outside the play-off places following Saturday's goalless draw against .
