Nantwich Town announce five signings for next season

boss Phil Parkinson has announced another five players have committed to the club for next season.

Supporters' player of the season Matty Kosylo, Steve Jones and young centre-half Jon Moran have re-signed from last season's squad while there are two new faces.

Winger Josh Gordon arrives from while former skipper Sam Hall, pictured, also joins the Dabbers.

Parkinson said: “I am delighted with the signings that we have made so far. Especially as these are players that have shown me and our supporters that they want to play for Nantwich Town above all else and they believe in what we are all trying to do.

“Matthew Kosylo and Steve Jones have again epitomised this ethos, as despite being courted by a number of high profile clubs. They have chosen to stay with us and continue on this exciting journey that we started late last season.

“Jon Moran is a player that we believe has a very promising and exciting future, as I am sure that anyone who saw his performances when he came into the team on loan from Crewe Alexandra would agree.

“Josh Gordon is a young, very talented, powerful goal scoring winger, who was extremely well sort after by a host of clubs after his exploits for Newcastle Town last season where he helped them to the play-off semi-finals.

“Sam will bring quality, experience, leadership and goals. He has an uncanny knack of scoring important goals and we are extremely pleased to have him at the club as he represents everything we are trying to do here.”

Meanwhile, Harry Clayton has decided to depart the Weaver Stadium and join NPL Premier rivals Colwyn Bay.
