Thankfully it wasn't as serious as fans feared after the NPL Premier game was halted for nearly an hour at 9.30pm last Tuesday night.

The Ravens player of the year eventually left the ground in an ambulance after receiving treatment on the pitch for over 50 minutes.

It was a long wait for all involved – he needed care with just a minute of the match remaining. The game was finely poised, Coalville led 2-1 but the 23-year-old's injury meant a big delay in getting the final seconds of the game concluded.

There was a double dose of good news for the away side. When play finally resumed, they held out for the little time that was left to collect a vital three points.
