FARNBOROUGH have warned their supporters: start turning up to games or the directors will no longer fund a push for promotion.

A crowd of just 189 was recorded last Saturday for the visit of Hanwell Town. Farnborough believe just 100 spectators paid the admission fee – and they say the club made a loss of £300 from the game and that's before players' wages and overheads are taken into consideration.
A club statement released this week confirmed: “With the current low level of attendances and with no fans having bought into the Boost the Boro scheme, the current playing budget cannot be maintained.
“We are not prepared to run the club at a loss as we know where that can lead, as seen in recent years. On the eve of the season we made it clear that our supporters either had to use or lose the facilities.
“Difficult decisions will need to be made extremely quickly and we have informed the manager of the budget position that looks likely to be adjusted imminently if things don't change.”
