CHELMSFORD CITY were left rueing missed chances as Hungerford scored a late goal to salvage a point in Essex.
The hosts took the lead after six minutes of the first half when Michael Spillane converted after Chris Dickson’s header had struck the bar.
The Clarets continued to dominate the early stages but could not further their lead.
Daniel Green’s fierce connection to Bagasan Graham’s cross was dramatically blocked on the edge of the box, then Tom Hitchcock shot agonisingly wide from Spillane’s knock-down.
