THE wet and windy weather didn’t dampen an entertaining game where Aveley remained top of the table and beat a Hashtag side who had won seven straight games.
The Millers controlled the majority of the first half. However, the hosts should’ve been infront after Aveley keeper David Hughes misjudged a clearance. It landed to Carlos Flood on his own, 18 yards out with an open goal, but he managed to put his effort wide.
