IT'S hard to believe that we are now halfway through the month of February and soon we will be on the final stretch of
this season's FNL.
In the main table we have a couple of teams that have broken away from the rest of the pack. This is a bit like a marathon with two runners making an early move.
The question is, of course, will they be able to hold onto that lead or will the pack pull them back?
Leading the way at the moment is Hawks MRN with 12,420pts; they are 10pts ahead of second placed BigBeer FC.
Heading the chasing pack in third place is Jamelgina FC who has 12,259pts and they are 161pts behind our leader.
In fourth place, a further 3pts behind, our third placed team is Two Left Feet. Out of those four teams only Two Left Feet have not made any substitutions. That could be very important when the end of season bonuses are awarded. The top ten is covered by 281pts.
At the bottom it is not quite so tight; don't forget there is £100 up for grabs for finishing bottom.
In bottom place at the moment is Bruces Anchors with 4,873pts. Their nearest rival is Joshuas Jewels who are 119pts ahead of them.The bottom 25 is covered by 668pts.
