The pair were appointed after the club parted company with Joe White and his management team, who are now in charge of Premier Division side Almondsbury.
The Western League club’s chairman, Mike Blessing, was pleased to have retained the services of the experienced former manager Jeff Meacham, who will assist White’s coaching team at the Bristol club.
Bailey, who made more than 520 first team appearances for the Almonds over 17 seasons, and had been in charge for four years, cited work and family commitments.
The Green Army were second in Western League Division One before the curtailment, but their weighted two-year points per game average was lower than their rivals, meaning a stay in Step 6.
