CHESTER have signed former Wrexham attacking midfielder Elliott Durrell as well as former Leeds United defender Ross Killock.
Durrell, 26, was the top scorer for National League North side Tamworth last season with 13 league goals under former Red Dragons boss Andy Morrell.
He spent just under 18 months with Wrexham after making his name at Hednesford Town, netting 109 goals in 240 appearances for the Pitmen.
Despite interest from other clubs, Durrell has opted for Chester and he told the club's website: “I had a lot of options from the league below, but I want to play at the highest possible level.
“You've seen that at every level of football, a team can do well if they're a close tight knit group.”
The Blues have also welcomed back former loanee Killock following his release from Championship club Leeds United.
The 21-year-old spent the 2013-14 campaign on loan at Chester and boss Jon McCarthy has moved quickly to bring him back to the club.
“As soon as Macca rung me, I knew I wanted to sign right away,” Killock said. “My time here was probably my best in football, so it's great to be back.”
