LUTON TOWN have signed goalkeeper Elliot Justham from Ryman Premier Division club East Thurrock United.
The 22-year-old stopper kept 14 clean sheets for the Essex outfit last season, helping them to a fifth place finish.
They missed out on a place in the Conference after losing 1-0 to Lowestoft Town in the play-off semi-finals but Justham has now ensured he has the chance of playing Step 1 football next season.
Whether he will be able to win the number one jersey at Kenilworth Road remains to be seen but Hatters boss John Still is excited by the potential he sees in the former Brentwood Town keeper.
“He’s a player that’s been on my radar for the last six months but, since I arrived at Luton, we’ve seen him play several times and been hugely impressed. He has a big presence at the back and his distribution is also very good.
“Elliot’s potential has already been spotted by a number of clubs. Reading and West Ham have taken him on trial in the past and now we hope he can go on and become a top goalkeeper whilst with Luton Town.”
