MIDFIELDER Robbie Booth has left Conference North runaway leaders Chester FC to sign for Welsh Premier League side Bangor City.
The 26-year-old experienced back-to-back promotions with the Blues over the past two years but a back injury in the summer of 2012 saw him fall down the pecking order at the Exacta.
A lack of first team opportunities led the former Southport and Burscough man to seek employment elsewhere and he has now linked up with Bangor.
The Citizens are in a promotion battle of their own and are currently eight points behind WPL leaders The New Saints with a game in hand.
Speaking about Booth's departure, Chester boss Neil Young told the club's website: “Robbie has been a fantastic servant over the last two years and played a major part in both of our promotions.
“His attitude and effort has been first class and we wish him well at Bangor.”
