■BURY recorded a rare goalless draw as they failed to convert chances at Ram Meadow.
Aveley defended well throughout and visiting keeper Rhys Madden was in no mood to give anything away.
The Millers had the ball in the Bury net in the first half, only to be ruled offside.
Bury had the better of the chances but couldn’t find a way through the Aveley back line.
And the closest they came to scoring was in the 81st minute when a great clearance off the line by the Millers’ Billy Coyne denied Bradley Barber the winning goal.
